What demos or experiments are done with these lasers of varied colors? I ca=
n only think of a couple:
Varying refraction with varying wavelength
Different frequencies providing different patters for diffraction / interfe=
rence labs.

What else am I missing?

Thanks.

I was planning on making one of Dale's Multi laser setups for diffraction =
demos, but this might just be easier.

Jerry,
I saw those at the winter meeting. They are LED and do work pretty well fo=
r color mixing and as ray boxes on a table. I would like something brighte=
r for use on a larger scale--like with a group of 100 kids.

(and, Duh, now I just realized what Bill was saying---Of course the laser b=
eams need to be divergent for a ray box--I hope they include that feature o=
n the laser blox--they hint at it in the description.)

Patty,

Very nice!

Compare it to the light sticks at Arbor:

Thanks for the tip.
