Please enlighten me.



When I charge up a 1 farad capacitor using a Genecon (hand-cranked
generator) and then let go of the crank the Genecon continues turning in the
SAME direction I turned it as I charged the capacitor.



I never understood why it turns in the same direction. I expected the
Genecon would begin turning the opposite direction as the capacitor
discharges through the Genecon. It doesn't. Why?
