Hi Taplers,
-One of our instructors is interested in adding a frequency range of hearin=
g experiment.
-Seems there would be no lack of student interest.
--Last semester our Hearing and Speech Dept was doing some research on lang=
uage and word recognition, and they gave me a hearing test, and I flunked, =
at least for the purposes of their research. All I heard were some short be=
eps, then there was silence, but perhaps it was not my hearing - perhaps th=
e higher-frequency beeps did not exist!
-Many thanks for any ideas, suggestions and experience sharing.
-Do you think that ordinary amplifiers, generators, speakers, headphones an=
d microphones would work?
Many thanks,
Bill Norwood, U of MD at College Park
