A quick blink-off, but I have never actually caught it blinking off, but th=
e beam has always been bright or off when I was checking.

Does it 'fade out' or 'snap off'?

I'd a slow fade would point to a thermal expansion of the optics whereas a =
quick blink-off would more likely be the PS.
