"FBI spokeswoman Sandy Breault said the item was a science experiment by a
graduate student from Oregon. The student was believed to have been involved
in an event at Creighton University.

A Creighton official said there was an apparatus competition held on the
campus that was part of the summer meeting of the American Association of
Physics Teachers.

Hi folks,

I just wanted to extend my thanks for everything. It was
wonderful to be able to spend the last few days with the folks who were able
to attend. I always learn new things to take home and use, so again thanks.
Great sessions Sam & Ramesh. All of the workshops I participated in, I was
able to take something to apply for the upcoming school year. And I wanted
to say Congratulations Keith!

As for the bomb scare today, I was in the other concourse
when the bomb threat was going on. It turned out to be a unidentified
backpack. If it was a student's backpack I hadn't heard that. They were
actually landing all the flights through Concourse A for a while. My delay
happened at DIA for no apparent reason. Anyways, good night all and I am
grateful for your wisdom and generosity. Sincerely,

David

It was a pain. Caused me to miss my connection in Chicago. Ended up flying
to St. Louis and then on to Raleigh. Just got home 5 hours later than I was
scheduled.

Still, great conference and great seeing everyone. Learned lots of great
new stuff as always.

So, Stan, who was it and what was he carrying??

Great meeting. Wonderful to see you all again. Those of you who weren't
there - you were missed... :(
