Hi George,

I just spoke with the person who got the grant of the laser and it was
about $30k. A 100W laser costs a lot.

Paul,

I ended up paying for AutoCAD out of my own pocket, because
The "recept got lost" It was only good for three copies. I made a third
copy when I had a hard disk crash and a 2 months later had another crash.
I ask the AutoCAD folks for another copy and got one. I had an older
educational discount that cost $750. It was
a locked copy that needed a key that plugged into the printer port to run.
I gotr mine through Studica, but my recommendation is to go with
DraftSight unless you need all the AutoLISP second party add-ins.
Normal copies are about $3-4k.

Tom
