Several years ago I ordered six of these items (at about twice the price
as advertised below) and I was not too impressed with them. They were
rather cheap and shoddy in construction, the top half of the post as
well as the circular table itself are made of wood, the pin in the
center of the table came out too easily (and would not go back in firmly
in one or two cases), and the numbers affixed to the top started coming
off. Of the six, I remember at least three having some problem or
another. They are usable, but be careful not to be too rough on them for
the above reasons.=20

I personally prefer the older, all metal, durable (but more expensive)
force tables that have survived some 20 semesters (and are still going)
since I arrived in the Physics Department.

Then again, this may have been a bad batch, and I would wait on others'
reviews before making your final decision.
