Greetings,

For a small one using a 3# or now smaller coffee
can:

1. Cut a 1 inch hole in the bottom of the
can

2. Put on the lid

3. Tap it the air will come out.

4. For sighting, cut a 1 inch or so hole in
the plastic lid. Tape over the hole with 2inch
clear strapping tape.

5. Set up a lighted candle. Align the can
and tap the can lid.

I've seen garbage can size ones.

1. Cut a hole in bottom,

2. Put garbage bags, or heaver plastic on
top opening. Secure tightly to the can. Put in
smoke and tap the plastic.

I have built one out of a cardboard box.

Put a square opening over the round opening. What
will be the shape of the smoke that comes out?

Howdy all,

I'm looking to build a rather largish smoke-ring
cannon, probably out of a big plastic or steel
barrel, and I was wondering whether or not anyone
has some tips for me to follow. I'm also
interested in knowing how it is that you generate
the smoke, etc. Thanks in advance!

Cheers,
