Don't lick them and you will be perfectly safe. If you touch them and are
worried about residue, wash your hands in cold water with soap. Nothing to
worry about at all.

I was about to use some lead bobs in a pendulum experiment and was told of
their potential toxicity. Is there an available, practical, durable,
long-term coating for these, or should I just give up on it?
