Hi Taplers,

OK guys, I know some of you avoid user manuals with a passion and become qu=
ite good at figuring out how to get performance from complicated instrument=
ation, circumventing a lot of the poor writing of instructions.

But this one has humbled me - try as I might - I cannot figure out how to c=
onveniently save and recall files from the memory of the Wavetek Mini (Spec=
trum) Analyzer 5810, which might have 100 memory addresses. Imagine being "=
on" file #62 and wanting to access file #61. I can find no way to do this e=
xcept by indexing forward through all of the files in the memory, one at a =
time. There is no indexing backward that I can identify. And there is no wa=
y to punch in address numbers either.

Anyway, if you are "interested" I would be glad to send you pictures of the=
front of the apparatus so that you could tell me which buttons to push.

By the way, if you happen to have such a manual around I would be intereste=
d.
