Subject: Re: Ruben's tube and propane

Post:

I've used mine for 20 years with both natural gas and propane. I have 2
input taps and use small propane torch type propane cylinders to feed
the tube. Mine produces nice standing waves when I "pipe" in calliope
music. I've made no hole adjustments for the different fuels. This is
only an empirical finding - I am neither endorsing or advocating the use
of propane. Don't sue me if something goes horribly wrong.

You might be careful and tip the tube on end to let the heavier propane
fall out the end before transporting it back home in your van. I forgot
to do that once and thought I was driving my VW microbus back in the
60's by the time I was half way home.
