At the summer AAPT meeting, David Lawrie of the University of Alberta gave
a poster session (session AI04) where he used red, green, and blue LEDs to
do color mixing. He brought the equipment with him and set it up next to
his poster. A novel aspect to this was that the LEDs were superbright, so
that the demos could be done in bright room light, with a LED to
projection screeen separation of a half-meter or so. I thought

Any schematics? Any handouts from the meeting available.
Sounds like it could make a great hallway demo
