Zig,
The only concession the lab TAs ave to make is actually putting away the lab
equipment in a timely manner on Thursday afternoon and setting up the
following week's labs on Sunday evening or Monday (we are small enough that
these labs are not in use all week). We do not have a "lab manager", the
professors teaching the lectures are officially responsible for their own
TAs and the labs have been predetermined by a faculty committee. We do not
have a demo person either and our "demo room" is a catastrophe! All the
demos I use have been purchased with outreach funds, mostly the APS WYP2005
grant and a few smaller ones.
