Tappers,

Has anyone noticed unexpected problematic issues that arise when using java applets on a windows os machine?

I have Dell laptops running Windows XP. If I try to run a java applet after doing a windows update I get an error message that says something like "active x disabled", and "click here to temporarily run active x controls". This causes me pains and to overcome this I have to disable windows updates.

Anyone experiencing similar conflicts between Java and Windows?

Can a Win-doze expert(as Urs likes to put it)fill us in with some helpful details in this issue?

The ground is soft and it is time for planting peas.
The maple sap has flowed and the grape buds have formed and the trout are biting. The fishing season has opened.

Do a little more of that work which you have confessed to be good,
Which you feel that society and your most Just Judge rightly demand of you.
Cultivate the tree which you have found to bear fruit in your soil.
If you have any experiments you would like to try, try them.
Now's your chance.
