Greetings,
Have any of you been aware of the bridge described at the web site. I
find it amazing.

There was an attachment picture with the email I received which I
deleted.

Enjoy,

Dick

Subject: Scared of bridges???

This Cable-Stayed Bridge Project is scheduled to be completed January
2005. (39 month construction contract). This project is being financed
privately. This project has the highest bridge piers in world. Thus
the title of the Highest Bridge in the World. The tallest will be 240
meters high. Overall height an outstanding 336.4 meters. This project
will consist of seven separate cable-stays.
It's located in southern France, and is the highest bridge in the
world. See:

http://bridgepros.com/projects/Millau_Viaduct/ for details of location
and construction.
It is a truly amazing piece of engineering, especially considering the
method used to span the distance between the piers. BTW the red towers
you see in the photo were removed following completion of the bridge.

They haven't printed enough money to pay me to drive across this
bridge!! Scary eh! Chief D J
