We have some that are ideal; the demonstration spring set from Pasco

(11cm in length, 2.5cm in diameter, spring constants between 4 and 14

N/m) but they don't have any in stock.  I ordered their Hooke's Law

Set, but the springs just aren't robust enough for our purposes.
