The cost per pin was on the order of $2.00. Certainly there are other places AAPT could spend the money. However, you must remember that we are competing for visibility with APS, NSTA, etc. and we have often received comments from members that AAPT should have a pin.

You will not receive one again in the near future and new members will receive them as they join.

So wear it in good health.

Better spent? I could probably think of something I would use more, but
I am not a lapel pin kind of guy.
