Terry, we have been looking at the Sony VPL-?S5 it is an 1800 ansi lumen
projector and you should be able to buy it for $2194.00
If you can't get a decent price in your part of the world contact TV
Specialists.com here in SLC.
I have been buying AV from them for 30yrs, they have state contract
pricing and will sell to virtually any school at that price.
You may also want to look at the Panasonic line they have some very
nice units in the same price range.
