I finally got to the Mag Lab and found copies of two articles that
G.G.Scott did while he was measuring the E.-dH. effect.

I scanned the picture of the Helmholtz coils from one of them which Chele
has kindly posted for us.

The articles, which I find very interesting are about The Scott Effect:

GAS TORQUE IN WEAK MAGNETIC FIELDS,

Physical Review Vol.158, No 1, June 1967

is the earlier one, and the later contains some theory.


I will bring copies to the Austin meeting, and if a few of you ask, I might
mail some.


I don't think many of you have room for this apparatus in your Demo
shelves. Not even Dick B.
