Hi Brad,
I mounted a 12V DC motor on 3/4" plywood base. Cut a 2 - 6" diameter wheels from 1" plywood and glued them together. Cut the center of the wheels to fit the motor shaft. Build a wheel stand from 2X4 wood. It works fine. Cost
essentially nothing since I had a motor laying around.
