I have the CENCO Demonstration size Wimshurst Machine Catalog #CP54166-00
that they currently sell for a whopping $623.00!! I know it hurts but I'd
say this unit is well worth the price tag, it's very well built and
produces terrific charges! I also have an older version of the cheaper
Wimshurst they sell and it works well too but it's not built nearly as
well and doesn't produce as much charge. If I had to buy another one I'd
buy the bigger brother over the smaller one anyday.....
University of Florida (where due to humidity we need big charges!)
