Just in case anyone else is interested in making conductive ping-pong
balls, I've just found something that works extremely well.
John Deere Slip-Plate Graphite dry film lubricant. I picked it up at
the local farm supply.
It comes in a spray can, and goes on like paint. It leaves a durable,
hard, dry, matte black coating that is reasonably conductive. (10-50
kOhm pole-to-pole on a ping-pong ball.)
Much easier and quicker than pencil... ;-)
