Subject: Newton's Pendulum Repair

We have a small Newton's Pendulum demo.
One of the metal balls has fallen off.
Apparently it was glued to a plastic piece which is attached
to the string.
Have you all had a similar problems?
What kind of glue (or other method) do you recommend for repair?
