Tappers, try the falling magnet thing rolling on an inclined sheet of
1/4" Cu, allowing the NIB to roll is very cool. Check for the self
correcting effect?
The sheet is 4" x 36". I owe the inspiration for this demo to Bill
Beatty.
You can use different tubes one with a bore [I.D.] close to the size
of the magnet and one with a loose fit [large I.D.] and the same outside
dimension, then observe the different speeds.
The large bore tube I can use with a video camera and see the magnet
as it rolls, twists, and tumbles its way down.
Good Lenzing, Zig
