We use a text called Advanced LabVIEW Labs by John Essick for our 390
(Intermediate physics Labs) generally taken in the 2nd or 3rd year.
It's a pretty good text, and walks you through LabVIEW pretty well.
I'm currently working on a project to revamp our photoelectric effect
lab (our current one sucks) using LabVIEW to interface and record the
data. If it works out well I'll let you know

O.K. I just
got my first Vernier LabPro today!  I plan to experiment with it
this summer in hopes of getting a lab full of them in the fall.
We have not yet purchased the LoggerPro software, so all of my
experimenting will be done with a student version of LabView (we also
hope to get in the lab this fall.)

....So those
of you experienced with this sort of setup, what experiments do you
suggest I start out with at a beginner to intermediate level (both lab
and programming skills)?

...What cool
projects have you done, that you couldn't have without your
LabPro/Labview?

Thanks,
-Andy.
