Long, long ago, in 1987 when he was with NBC. We were scheduled to go back
when the TV writers association went on strike, then he went to CBS (?),
and we lost contact.
Austin is a big music and film town, so it shows up in TV ratings of programs.
I was just heckling Jerry Zani about the risks of being too
visible...paranoia comes with the job if you do it too well...Karl
