Subject: Pasco 9587 Function generator

Hi, I have a PI 9587 and a PI 9587A Pasco function generators. The output
amplifier seems to have gone bad. Pasco wants $140 each to fix them, anyone
have experience fixing these themselves. Budgets are very tight right now I
would rather save the money for something else if I could. Is it a matter
of just replacing the amplifier transistors which would be pretty easy? Any
ideas would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance, dave
