Here at CEU we are fast approaching wireless campus, but our
students can't all afford notebooks. Tuition for a year here wouldn't even
cover a notebook computer either.

Boys, Boys, Boys!!!!

Ramon-----I thought that we raised enough eyebrows at
Rochester during our talk that we wouldn't have to revisit this PC/Apple
discussion anytime soon.

As for Dick's comment about his college in PA that gives a laptop to
incoming freshmen...........old news with old technology. To be up to
date you have to come to college in Iowa. Buena Vista University in Storm
Lake Iowa has the only "totally" wireless campus in the US. Everybody
there also gets their own PC but it includes wireless internet hardware so
that no matter where on campus you are you can connect. Fact is you never
have to shut you computer down or log off as you walk around campus. (Do I
sound like a walking advertisement for my old Alma Mater yet??)
