Subject: CAD program for lab-move

Post:

Hello tappers:

Does anyone know an easy-to-learn, inexpensive CAD program to draw lab
table arrangements on a given floor space? After tinkering with pencil and
ruler to figure out various possible arrangements in different scenarios, I
quickly learnt that it would be very efficient with a CAD or similar
program. Our upper level teaching labs are being targeted to be moved to
a different building to make space for research lab rooms of new faculty
hires. There are 5 lab courses and about 8000 sq.ft involved. Also, it
will be very helpful if tappers who had gone through this could share their
experiences on lab move. Thanks for any comments.

Best regards,
