Greetings, This takes time to make.

Make 5 blocks of 2x2in by varying heights, all of the same weight.and 5 =
blocks of 2x2in all the same height with differing masses. I got 1x2 by =
eight feet of wood, cut two pieces the same length, hollowed out part of =
each board, added lead shot to make the mass the desired amount and then =
glued them together, sanded well and painted. This begins the =
introduction of density. (I understand that they can be purchased but =
do not know where.).

One small but effective demo. Take a reasonably large chunk of lead =
(part
of a lead brick works well) and cut a piece of Styrofoam (packing =
material)
to the same size and shape. Let them hold both. Most of the kids have
never experienced something as dense as lead.
