Folks,

As a general rule I would say, "Stay away from atoms and molecules until
grade 8 or 9." Students must have done a lot of measuring to appreciate
the size of even the biggest molecules. Then when they get into college or
out into the world they will not fall in the 70% that can't place entities
in approximate ascending order of size.
