Post:

Greetings Tappers:

I'm trying to construct a timeline of events or milestones in the history of
physics demonstrations and labs. I have some info about the beginnings
of the lab as we know it (Hall from Harvard about 100 years ago, etc) but
little about demonstrations _specifically_ .... my goal is an article for the
PIRA Newsletter (or maybe TPT if it looks good enough after working it a
while).

Can you think of anything you'd like to see on such a timeline? I'll try
to fill
in your requests on this timeline, and if you wish to contribute an item please
mention it to me. I need items for this timeline. What would you like to see
on it? What were the major events that shaped the way we do labs? (I have
some but want to know what YOU think) .... I await your responses. This
should be interesting.

Thanks,

- Roger
