TECHNICIAN

Macalester College seeks a Scientific Instrument Technician to provide support for existing teaching and research laboratory electronics and instrumentation. This includes coordinating repair of faulty equipment, constucting small-scale prototype electronics and instrumentation, taking responsibility for instrumentation in Keck Lab and Machine Shop. QUALIFICATIONS: Degree in electronic technology or equivalent; two yrs exp maintaining scientific instrumentation; and good communication and organizational skills with ability to teach others.
