Scott,
You may want to consider joining PIRA and attending the business
meeting on Monday night. Lots of interesting/diverse people and a darned
good resource to have handy when questions arise.
Summer meeting rules-----
Rule #1: Grow some new brain cells before you go so you can absorb as
much as possible. And you might loose a few anyway depending on who you
hang out with... :) People like Ziggy, Karl... ooops, just joking guys!
Rule #2: See if you can attend the lecture demo workshop because a
lot of the equipment used in there will be applicable to lab things also.
Rule #3: Find the PIRA resource room and gather as much info as you can.
There are always interesting people hanging around and lots of material
and equipment. Very hands-on place to be...
Rule #4: Never be afraid to ask any PIRA person a question. Even if we
can't help you, we probably know someone who can or can point you in the
right direction.
Rule #5: Have fun! Oh, and get to the vendor fair early if you want to
get the good "freebies".
