Try using one of those cheap magnetic induction pick-up coils Radio Shack
sells for inductively recording phone conversations. It has a suction cup
bottom which attaches to the phone, and then goes to an amplifier. If you
pass this across a magnet, you hear the clicks in the field of the thin
metal cover of the induction coil device as the domains flip upon changing
the direction of stroke across the magnet. Karl
