Birefringent Crystals
# 6H35.10

Description: These calcite crystals are a birefringent medium, so they split one light beam into two beams. There are different indices of refraction for different polarizations. In p polarization, n=1.4864 and in s polarization n=1.6584. Placed on text, images appears double.

Purchased/Built: purchased

Setup Time: none

Quant. in Demo Room: 4
