Description: A tuning fork can be made to resonate by driving it with a speaker. Instructions: Bring the speaker up to the open end of the mounted tuning fork. The tuning fork resonates at 256 Hz. Tune the frequency generator until no beats are heard between the speaker and tuning fork. Make sure the tuning fork is not resonating and turn up the speaker. When you turn the speaker off, the tuning fork will still be resonating.
