Thermostat Model
# 4A30.11

Description: This is an excellent demonstration of how thermostats work. Two bimetallic strips are placed so that they are heated by a heat lamp. As the strips get hot, one of the metal strips bend breaking the contact. This break in contact turns off the lamp. As the lamp cools, the metal bends back and contact is made again.
