Description: Place a charge on the sphere. Touch the inside of the pail with the proof plane. Touch the plane to the Pasco Electrometer and show no charge is present. Now touch the outside of the pail and then the electrometer. The meter on the overhead will deflect and hold the charge. Parts: Faraday's Ice Pail, charged rod (either pos. or neg.), Pasco Electrometer w/ overhead meter.
