Magnetic Field from a Coil

Description: A bar magnet is placed on a rotating stand near a coil. A DC power supply is then switched on, creating a current in the coil and therefore a magnetic field. The bar magnet then rotates so that its magnetic field is aligned with the coil's magnetic field.
