Description: A (nearly) frictionless PASCO cart is made to move across a track showing various qualities of velocity. Instructions: The cart's track should be leveled by the demoroom staff when you arrive. The cart is placed in the grooves of the track, and you are ready to demonstrate velocity. Hazards: Carts can be damaged if dropped. Their mass is about 500 grams, which would not feel good once dropped from the top of the table! Parts: 1 track (the ~2 meter track will be assumed, but a ~1 meter version is also available) 1 cart Masses (if desired) Purchased/Built: purchased Quant. in Demo Room: 1 Source: Pasco Scientific
