Description: This demonstration shows two dimensional motion via a projectile. A quantitative or qualitaive experiment can be done with this setup. Instructions: The launcher will be clamped to the table when you arrive. Put the ball in the end of the launcher and use the plunger to cock it back to the desired range. Then just pull upwards on the string to fire. Hazards: As with any projectile launching device, be careful to stay out of the way of the ball as it leaves the cannon.
