Description: Spin the ball/cylinder around while holding the hollow tube. Move the lower ball/nut up and down to change the radius of the circle and the angular velocity.

Meiners 13-7.6 Shorten the string of a rotating ball on a string.
Freier and Anderson Ms-5 Balls are attached to either ends of a string that passes through a hollow tube. Set one ball twirling and pull on the other ball to change the radius.
